Refund Policy
On this page
1. Who handles refunds
Élan is sold through Lemon Squeezy (operated by Sold through Link, LLC), which acts as our online reseller and Merchant of Record: it charges you, handles sales tax, and deals with billing and refunds.
This policy sets out what we promise on top of Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms. Where this policy, Lemon Squeezy's terms or the law gives you more, the most generous applies.
2. 30-day money-back guarantee
If Élan isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of the first payment for your subscription, and you'll get that payment back in full. You don't need to give a reason, and it doesn't matter how much you've used Élan.
3. Renewals
Monthly renewal payments are refunded where the law requires it. If you think a renewal shouldn't have happened, for example because you meant to cancel, contact us or Lemon Squeezy and we'll look at it. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
4. How to ask for a refund
Email us at help@élan.app from the address you paid with, and include your order number. We'll issue the refund through Lemon Squeezy. Your order number is on your Lemon Squeezy receipt, and at app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders.
If you're a consumer in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you can also withdraw within 14 days of buying, as section 9 explains.
5. How you're paid back
Lemon Squeezy refunds approved requests to the payment method you used, where possible, usually within 14 days of approval. Your bank may take a few more working days to show the money in your account.
6. What happens to your subscription
When your first payment is refunded under the guarantee, your subscription is cancelled and your access ends. Your account and data are kept unless you ask us to delete them (see our Privacy Policy).
7. Cancelling without a refund
Cancelling stops future payments, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Our Terms of Service explain how to cancel.
8. If something goes wrong on our side
If a fault on our side stops you using Élan and we can't fix it within a reasonable time, we'll refund the payment for the affected period.
9. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the law.
- Consumers in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland have a 14-day right to withdraw from a new subscription. Our 30-day guarantee already covers that period, even if you've started using Élan.
- Other countries have their own rules, and the highest level of rights always applies.
10. Disputes and chargebacks
If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us or Lemon Squeezy first; we can usually fix it faster than a bank dispute. This doesn't limit your right to dispute a charge with your bank.
11. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date above changes. Changes never apply to payments made before them, and we'll tell you before a material change takes effect.
